Breath. Drone. Pulse
Turning the crank of her hurdy-gurdy, Estelle Mey threads vocals, frame drums and drones into hypnotic, atmospheric Neo-Folk. She braids today's languages with archaic and forgotten tongues, Gaulish inscriptions, Old English and medieval lays among them, for a sound rooted in nature and myth.

About Estelle
I'm Estelle, an artist, musician and language & music teacher from Ardèche in France, currently based in the United Kingdom.
Everything I create grows from curiosity: a love for the ancient and the natural and a fascination for what isn't yet understood. Music staying at the heart of it all.
To support my work, I created a Ko-fi crowdfunder and I wanted to offer something meaningful alongside it. This is how two worlds came to life, around my music:
